ABOUT
Isaiah
Isaiah Bowes (he/him) is an LA-based actor, artist, and entertainer. While attending UCLA, he showcased his talents in various productions such as In The Heights and Grease. Noteworthy roles he's originated include Juan Fulgencio Kenediaz (JFK) in The Mendozas Storm the Capitol and Matthew in Goodbye Billy the Butterfly. He's also ventured into voice acting in VR films like "Comfortless" by Gina Kim and appeared on screen in the Coca-Cola Refreshing Films ad campaign "SYNERGY”. Beyond acting, Isaiah has directed and written for his capstone short film Cedar Mountain, where he stars as Marco, set to premiere in the Summer of 2024, and starred alongside UCLA’s Premiere Comedy Troupe “Company” in Spring Sing 2024.
Isaiah's involvement in student theatre and film is equally impactful, having served as the Executive Director of Colorbox Production Company, and Executive Producer of Jane Play: Abortion and the Underground. He's also a co-creator of UCLA’s Creative Collective, a theatre troupe dedicated to producing original works, and UCLA’s Mirrorball Productions, a film company that specializes in creating original and diverse art. Originating from a family of Dominican Americans, Isaiah's heritage is integral to his portrayal of bi-racial characters onstage and onscreen.
Offstage, Isaiah is engaged in political discourse, often found delving into the latest political polls or sharing a good laugh with friends.
